Whether they were “bad to the bone”, “bad for a season”, or “bad for a moment” , these infamous women show us how NOT to handle the challenges of life. Scripture teaches how to avoid their mistakes and embrace grace. A book, “ Bad Girls of the Bible”by Liz Curtis Higgs, is required for the study. We visit the nursing home one Saturday a month to share love and encouragement, and we also meet one Monday a month at Pizza Inn in Tazewell for a time of devotion and card ministry. As we grow, we hope to serve widows, the children’s home, and others who need a helping hand.
